I first got to know of FWCC as they took Crescent Girls’ School, my secondary school. It was only after NSG that I started to train with FWCC more as I was more committed to doing my best to achieving greater things. After 5 years knowing of FWCC, I can confidently say that I would not have lasted so long in track if it weren’t for all the coaches at FWCC who are so dedicated to supporting us in our track journey.

As coach Kabi took CGS, i’ve had the privilege to have him as my coach for the past few years. Not only does he show full commitment to training me to the best of abilities, motivates me to aim far greater than I could possibly imagine. Despite his busy schedule, he always tries his best to accommodate time to train me and after these few years of seeing him multiple times a week, I can safely say that he is someone I can share my worries with and someone I admire.

I first met coach Fabian during the trials for track and field in secondary 1. From the first day, coach said that he could see the potential in me which was what pushed me to commit to the sport. Coach Fabian shows never ending support and dedication to all his athletes, and meticulously ensures we perform to the best of our abilities. Under his knowledge and guidance, I’ve benefited greatly from all his advice and encouragement.

My journey in track and field has been a highlight in my life so far. I’ve learnt the importance of dedicating myself to everything that I do and to never limit my goals and aspirations. Not only have I gotten the chance to meet many talented and hardworking individuals, I’ve also gotten the chance to make friends with the coaches and teammates who have supported me and gotten me thus far.
